Jane Austen's First Love, with Syrie James

Syrie James, author of "Jane Austen’s First Love" will be speaking to JASNA San Diego Members at the Poway Library. She will have a PowerPoint presentation with lovely images about the research behind the novel, and the ground-breaking information she discovered about Edward Taylor, the young man Jane Austen mentioned with great affection in several of her preserved letters. Syrie James will be happy to autograph copies of her books. For "Jane Austen's First Love", "The Missing Manuscript of Jane Austen", and "The Lost Memoirs of Jane Austen", please buy the books in advance and bring them to the meeting; see her website syriejames.com for easy purchase links. She has written thirteen other books, including a new Victorian historical murder mystery romance series, and will bring some copies to the meeting for sale and signing.
