We are the San Diego Region (chapter) of the international Jane Austen Society of North America (JASNA).

To join us, you simply join JASNA and designate the San Diego Region as your home chapter. You’ll have benefits from both!

1.     JASNA benefits—

• You’ll be a member of the only major North American society devoted to Jane Austen, her works, and her times.
• JASNA has publications, an annual meeting, tours of Jane Austen sites in England, and more.
• If you move to another region in the future, you’ll find a ready-made group of friends who share your interests!

2.     JASNA San Diego benefits--

• Fun activities and talks, both in-person and on Zoom.
• Our new Book Club.
• Special events, including an annual Tea in honor of Jane’s birthday.

Or if you are a student, signing up for membership is free until Dec. 31, 2025, in honor of Jane’s 250^th birthday year.

Go to this link, sign in at the upper right to enter the member portal, just under your name look for the box “What would you like to do?”, click on the first option “View/update profile”, and scroll down the resulting page until you get to “3. Region Affiliation(s)”.
