Jane Austen Evening 2018

This event is put on by the Society for Manners and Merriment in Pasadena
An afternoon of tea and conversation (this year featuring Walter Nelson discussing Phrenology, Mesmerism and Regency Quackery) followed by an evening of dancing.
Music provided by the Philadelphia Academy of Music, dance mistress Marsden Macrae.

Dance Classes
For a more enjoyable experience, the following Dance Classes are strongly recommended:
SATURDAY, JANUARY 13th, 2018: Beginner/Intermediate Class: 1 PM to 5 PM Admission: $13 (2 for $25), Payable at the door (Cash or Check only)
SATURDAY, JANUARY 20th, 2018: Advanced Class: 9:30 AM to 12 Noon Beginner/Intermediate Class: 1 PM to 5 PM Admission: $13 (2 for $25) Half Day (either class) $25 Full Day (both classes), Payable at the door (Cash or Check only)
New Location for Dance Classes: Scottish Rite Cathedral 150 N. Madison Ave., Pasadena, CA 91101 Parking is available in the lots on the north and south side of the building.
