Don’t miss this year’s Winter Meeting, to be held Saturday, December 2 at Luminarias Restaurant (same venue as last year’s Winter Meeting). Our theme will be “Taking Jane Austen to School.”

Dr. Regulus Allen, who teaches at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, will discuss teaching Jane Austen with her talk, “From Hampshire to Hollywood.” We will also hear from local graduate students who have studied Jane Austen in various ways and then enjoy a recap of our Huntington Beach AGM.

Election of officers for 2018-2019 also will be held. A full list of nominees will be included in the meeting registration information to be distributed early next week.

We will also host our White Elephant Sale, so if you have items to donate, please bring them to the meeting.
